VSB12 NATIONAL CODE OF PRACTICE – Rear Marking Plates

Rear marking plates play an important role in improving the visibility of heavy vehicles and trailers, helping other road users identify vehicle extremities and recognise important warnings such as “Do Not Overtake Turning Vehicle”. The National Heavy Vehicle Regulator’s VSB12 National Code of Practice outlines the requirements for rear marking plates, including approved plate types, placement, installation and maintenance requirements for heavy vehicles and trailers.

Visit the VSB12 guide at the link below to learn more about rear marking plate requirements and how they contribute to safer roads for all users.
